*bringing awareness into all our inner dog circlesI found a new spot to hike the dogs until the salmon run. At which time, it will become time to vacate the local watering holes the dogs love frequenting here due to the risk of bear encounters in and around that time. I am scouting back up locations all the time. I found some great trails in the B.L.L. however more sightings of bear & cougar have been reported. The shoreline seems to be the safest area for me to walk while the dogs run for now. As summer winds down, hopefully we can take some steps back in the areas we loved to walk before everything woke up. :) I will keep everyone updated here. This concludes our adventures in May 2022. We had a great time exploring new locations since our encounter with the wildcat. No new cat sightings, but several bear & deer sightings. Remember be safe and smart out there!! Until next month. Take care-
