Bringing awareness into all our inner dog circles Sorry for such a long paws in between posts. I am literally non stop in all areas of life right now. I know many folks and families where shut down during the covid19 crisis. However, I wasn't. That's not to say I was working the whole time on business, but working on so many other things as well. While learning all about covid19 and how it affected life overall, there was collateral damage with the store fronts as I am now seeing. As happy as I am to see the open for business signs popping up. Sadly, some are coming down. I was informed the grooming room in "Woofy's" is reopening but without the friendly faces we have known to groom the towns dogs-I will miss Danika even though Far Fetched Grooming is just relocating to Courtenay, we enjoyed popping into to say 'hi' when we went to pick up Piper's treats. Sad face- I am relieved, Jazzy is still present to clean Piper's teeth this week, as with most of the staff returning to Woofy's as we discover life post covid19. I had to pack up gear from Hounds Hangout last week, as well. It didn't make the reopening. As much as I am very sad Ryan closed I remain as grateful for my humble beginnings there and the break I needed to meet all the dog parents and their fur pups in Campbell River. Working from home as proven to be a good decision, but miss the hounds and scrubbing all the dirty dogs clean again at the daycare. I believe it's a huge loss for the community that we will all feel for a long time. Perhaps, someone more financially secure will come along and reopen a new daycare, until then I am grateful to still be in the industry the way I am. Happy to serve 4 paws anytime. Please feel free to contact me if you have grooming questions and concerns anytime...I am not in it just 9-5 mon-fri. You can call, text, & email anytime. If I am around I will gladly respond in realtime.
