Is There A Snooze Button?
Some mornings I wake up for the day. Other mornings. I would happily stay under the blankets a little longer-like this morning. Koda has never considered either option relevant.
His solution is wonderfully simple: a joyful pounce that announces the day has officially begun. Piper is usually a bit more reserved, waiting patiently for breakfast while Koda handles quality control of my sleeping habits.
Looking back, I realize these little moments matter. Dogs do not ask whether yesterday was difficult. They invite us back into the present. A walk, wagging tail, fresh air, and another chance to begin again.
Making tracks is not always about climbing mountains. Sometimes, it is simply following two happy dogs out the front door and discovering hope has been waiting there all along.
